How Can Osteoarthritis In The Knee Joints Be Treated?
Yes. I have advance osteoarthritis in my knee joints. I cannot handle pain medications, or anesthesia. Total knee joint replacement is out of the question for me. I cannot take anti inflammatory medication, because it has started to affect my function of my kidneys. I am told that at age 79, I am too old for the new break through in the treatment of my osteoarthritis. What is your advice?

You can try prednisone injections and hyaluronic acid Injections at the knee joint. Also, I can recommend microtomy a microsurgery type of articulation. You can consult an orthopaedic surgeon about it.
