How Can One Treat Small Itchy Spots Near The Elbows?

I have what I thought was heat rash or prickly heat but now that the weather is cooler and the symptoms remain I am skeptical. I have very small individual places on the outside of my arms near the elbows that itch very much. The spots are very small bumps and are single not in clusters. What else could this be and how to stop the itching?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small itchy spots near the elbows which seems to be due to environmental factors, allergic reaction and side effects of some medicines and fungal infection.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor will take history, examine physically and take blood test and sample for lab test. Doctor may prescribe antifungal like fluconazole along with anti inflammatory medication. Avoid itching and pricking rashes. Apply cold compresses.
