How Can Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus Be Treated?

Hi, I am 63yrs old male. Recently diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. I have minor gait problems and occasional urinary incontinence. I have nt noticed any memory loss as yet. I feel like I am standing on a rocking boat when standing. I feel fine while sitting or lying down. I have consulted a neurosurgeon who recommends a LP followed by shunt surgery. I recently read about ayurvedic and other alternative therapies - not sure what to do?
