How Can Mosquito Bites On The Body Be Treated?

Yesterday, I was bitten 7 times by what I believe to be mosquito s. I live in Victoria Australia and often don t have issues when it comes to bites. But this time, the bites have turned into bruises, that look like hickeys. They itch and I can only assume they have turned this way because of scratching last night. But fear has overcome me. Any suggestions?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Multiple mosquito bites has caused an allergic reaction due to the toxin present in the sting..
It causes a localised allergic reaction that causes itching, rashes and can even causes hives..
I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Benadryl or Levocetrizine to reduce itching and rashes..
You can apply Caladryl lotion to reduce itching and soothe the skin..
Do cool compresses over the rashes..
You can also do cool water bath for reducing inflammation..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
