How Can Low Blood Pressure Be Treated?

I usually react to better blockers by my blood pressure and pulse going down severely. The doctor wants me to start on sotalol. He will allow me to start on 40mg in the morning to start with. I am just fearful that I will react to this drug as I have the other medications. What do you recommend? I also take antiacids that contain aluminum after each meal.

Ayurveda Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Low blood pressure is not a disease at all. It can be associated with some other problem but definitely not an individual disease. The main concern is low pulse rate. You need to evaluate yourself on cardiological lines. My suggestion is you take Ayurvedic Medicine for blood pressure if allopathic beta blockers or any other drugs lowers your BP more than expected.

Ayurvedic medicines never lowers anything below normal. You can consult any Ayurveda specialist for details.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. M Zahoor Bhat
