How Can Loose Motions Caused By Tonsil Medications Be Treated?

Dear Doctor, I'm 33 yrs male from Kolkata (India) and i am facing the problem of loose motion/ bowel for last 3 weeks. Last month i was treated for severe tonsil infection and took medecine after advise from a kolkata ENT specialist. The medecines are: Lynx 500, Cymoral forte, Combiflam, Rabee D20 & Coriminic. These medecines helped me to cure fully but i had these loose bowel problem started at the end of the above medecines course. I took Flagyl & Metrogyl 400 few times but didn't get any result. I have to go to motion for daily atleast 4 times, always its loose. Please suggest

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The given history of diarrhea could be due to antibiotic that you have taken. It is drug induced diarrhea and it may not need any medicine. Most of the time it is a self-limiting condition but in certain cases where the symptoms are long lasting; probiotic like lactobacillus can be tried.

If you try some medicine for this then the condition may flair up. If symptoms remains same even after taking the probiotic, then stool need to be sent for culture sensitivity test.
