How Can Liver Steatosis And Cirrhosis Be Confirmed By Blood Tests?

my bf in an alcoholic, he cannot quit alcohol and there r no rehab centers where we live, his most recent blood liver function showed elevated gamma GT and high borderline enzyems, what are the most comforting extensive blood work can we do to make sure he has nothing from steatsis to cirhossis. his ultrasound was clean

dear,
liver cirrhosis or steatosis cannot be confirmed on blood test.

confirmed by- liver biopsy(100%)
ultrasonography can also be done to get a good idea.

on blood test
elevated levels of
SGPT and SGOT three times the normal
along with
high TRIGLYCERIDES
strongly suggest liver cirrhosis and fatty liver.
However can be confirmed only on biopsy and USG.
