How Can Lifelong Falls Due To Thigh And Shinbone Twisting Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, I have experienced falls nearly all my life, since the age of ll. Now I am 72 I cannot seem to get over them as quickly as I use to.
The problem is from birth. I have seen a Consultant Orthapaedic sugeon in Treslisk Hospital,Truro,Cornwall, and he couldn't help me in any way. My weight is about nearly ll stone and I am 5'4 or thereabouts. The whole thigh is twisted and it causes a lot of pain when I fall. I also have inner twist in the shin bone. Thus making me walk properly.I have had three operations on the knee: Carterlidge, realignment of the knee and finally 6 years ago replacement right knee. Can you advise the next step to take

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. A proper alignment of your both legs is needed to attain stability. For this you can go for braces to wear if it gives stability. Physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist will help you with this. Proper designing of foot wears also will be needed. If that is not helping then correcting surgeries can be helpful. If you send the full details including X rays then i can help you. Correcting surgeries with ilizarov apparatus also will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
