How Can Itchy Red Spots On The Body Be Removed?

I have a recuring red, iching spots on my body, mostly on the back., one Dr gave me prescription Clobetasol, another gave me triamcinolone acetonide. It helped and mostly disappered. Only in a few small spots on leg or arm. Now it has returned, large, red itchy spots on the back. I still have one refill on each prescription. Is either of these ointment better, or do you recommend something else? My email address: YYYY@YYYY Thanks,

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy spots on back which seems to be due to allergic reaction and it gets exaggerated due to constant exposure to allergen. It could be due to contact dermatitis as well.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done. You should go for allergy testing as well. Start proper course of anti-inflammatory medications. Avoid use of any hard cosmetics. You should apply betamethasone twice daily. Take diet rich in fruits and vegetables. You should apply calamine lotion on back as well. Avoid itching and pricking rashes and avoid going outside.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
