How Can Itchy Rashes Due To Shingles Be Treated?

Hi. I had a case of shigles last and was treated byadoctor with a prescription drug and amedication for skin rash. I am79 and have not taken the shingle virus shot. Yesterday,Ibegin itching a dared rash appeared this morning. No pain yet. What do you recommend for treatment this weekend.

Hi,

You should start antivirals as it decreases the pain over a long term and also recurrent attacks .
The skin rash medicine should also be continued.
