How Can Itchy Fungal Infection On The Toes Be Treated?

I don t know quite where to begin so please bear with me. I had a toe nail fungus. I was given an antibiotic for a period, took it as prescribed, and an anti fungal which I am still on called terbinafine. My toe has healed, and shows no signs of the fungus. Lost the toe nail completely but I have severe itching of the toe, and up my foot, ankle and now calf of my leg is involved. I am using a prescription creme called Triamcinolone Acetonide 1%. I have had this for weeks now and the only thing that relieves the itching in my foot is ice cold water.

Hi,

All over the limb may be not due to fungal infection it may be due to allergy or eczema, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Atarax 25 twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
