Hi..
Thanks for the query..

A severe dry mouth is due to the side effect of the medication that you are taking and irritation and cracking of the lips is due to dryness of mouth and skin that is a common side effect of Carvedilol..

So my suggestion is to consult your treating Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation shall be done and you can be advised alternate drugs that can cause lesser side effects..

For now you can chew sugar free chewing gums, use mouth lubricants like oral gel and biotene mouthwash..
Apply thick coat of petroleum jelly over the lips and do cool compresses..
Drink plenty of water..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
