How Can Irritable Bowel Syndrome Be Treated?

YYYY@YYYY . I have had irritable bowel syndrome for 30 years and a few years ago I was diagnosed with reflux. Last year my GI doctor gave me the FODMAP diet and the others doctors that saw me for the reflux gave me suggestions on what to eat. I never eat spicy foods, don t drink alcohol, drink one cup of coffee, was drinking a very carbonated drink that had no calories or artificial sweetener but a lot of fizz. I went to bed right afterwards and am guessing that is not a good idea. I don t eat many sweets because I needed to lose weight and lost 30 pounds. I eat three meals a day but some meals are too large. I was curious if you could tell me as far as food goes, what should I eat and what about fiber?
