How Can Irritable Bowel Syndrome Be Treated?

Hello Doc, I have IBS and had colonoscopy & endoscopy done. My diagnosis was antral gastritis and doctor prescribed me Meva c, vsl3 & deltone 60mg. It is written in his prescription i should take meva c 1cap BD 12pm/10pm for 8 weeks. I am confused about the timing. Should i take at 12pm or 10pm? Or is it ok to take right after food. Please help.

Hi,

Meva C contains antispasmodics which can be taken 2-3 times per day, the ideal time being 20 minutes before the meals. Therefore i would advise you to adjust it according to your meals, that is 20 minutes before meals.
