Hi,

PCOS cause hormonal imbalance, menstrual irregularity, insulin resistance and weigh gain. I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study for better management. You took Noreethisterone for 7 days and after 3 days got scanty bleeding.

It could be a withdrawal bleeding or normal period. Wait for period to come next 3-4 days. If no more bleeding occur then consult gynecologist and high dose is required. You can ask for following drugs to regularize period: Krinson 35, and metformin. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, take small frequent meal rather than large meal, avoid excessive sweets, do regular exercise and maintain weight according to BMI.

Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.

Best regards,
Dr. Sagar
