How Can Insomnia Due To Severe Migraines Be Treated?

I suffer from migraines. I cannot sleep more than 4 hours without waking up with a migraine. AND if I begin to doze off during the day, while reading, watching tv, etc I get an instant migraine. What is happening in the brain to cause this and what can I do to prevent these brainwaves? from messing up. I can t continue to live on pain meds and so far Botox doesn t help. HELP!! Thanks!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the severe migraines require multidisciplinary approach as:
- Avoiding fall from the imbalance.
- Maintain hydration to get the least intense symptoms.
- Antiemetic in case of nausea.
- Sustain release Paracetamol works best.

- Specific medications as Vasograin or so forth help via cerebral circulation maintenance and neuronal effects.
- Managing stress and anxiety are of pivotal importance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
