How Can Insomnia Be Treated?

Yes, my Mother is 78 years old and recently was diagnosed with glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. She has since been advised, by her doctor s office, that she not only had cataracts, followed by glaucoma and M.D. She was to told to stop taking her benedryl (she takes for sleep, and nasal dripping). She was also told not to take mucinex DM maximum strength (at night, for reasons already mentioned). She is devastated and is now suffering with yet another bad symptom, NO SLEEP! My Mom is upset and doesn t know what to do. Thank you, Jane From St. Louis, MO.
