General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Asthma is mostly allergy originated. She should visit an allergy specialist to know about the allergens causing the problem & also do desensitization treatment.

-Should avoid allergens.
-Avoid exposure to cold, fried, sour things. Also, kid dust, smoke, fumes.
-Have regular respiratory exercises (pranayama)/walking & yoga daily for -30-40 minutes to be implemented gradually.
-Follow expert advice for preventive medications as per chest specialist's advise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
