How Can I Reduce Weight With Medications?

I currently take Lisinopril 10 mg daily, metoprolol succ ER 100 mg daily, and K-Dur 20 mg daily. I am anxious to loose at least 40 pounds as I am approx. 5 ft 2 and weigh 170 pounds. I am wondering how these wound interact with AdvoCare. My age is 58. My mom and oldest brother are on BP medication. My dad died early (like late 50 s) with portal hypertension and bleeding ulcers.

Ok... several points.
First, a reasonable diet WITHOUT energy / metabolic stimulants wouldn't be bad at all with your medicaitons/conditions.
The only metabolic stimulants shown to increase metabolism, did. .... And resulted in many deaths (dinitrophenol... it's back on the internet I see from the fatality reports). Most metabolic stimulants dont do anything.
Second
it's more of an issue about avoiding the wrong things. These tend to be eaten due to emotional and other triggers and working on these triggers is helpful for weight control
