How Can Hypertension And Diabetes Be Treated?

I am a female 62yrs old. blood pressure this morn was 147/75. current medication Plendil, Prinivil & questionTenormin. Also medication for type 2 Diabetes. 500mg XR Metformin. Also Lipitor for Chol. weight is 71kg. I exercise 50mins daily but cant seem to lower BP or Sugar which is 8.5 on waking in morn. Can u help me. thankyou

Hi,

You have to rule out secondary cause for hypertension as well like renal, endocrine or psychological cause. Along with regular exercise you have to control your diet plan as well.
