How Can High Fever And Irritation In The Vagina Be Treated?

Recently had UTI that required fluids and IV antibiotics at the hospital twice in 3 days. Fever of 103, 102.4, 102.8 Tylenol only helped for 3 to 4 hrs then right back up. Took round of Macrobid, and then Keflex. Now week an half later I am having irritation with slight redness and two areas of chafed skin in the vaginal area. Have used a bit of Nystatin Powder for 3 days feels somewhat better but now feel as if I have to urinate more an more. Urine is clear. Drinking only water, one glass of unsweet ice tea daily.

Hi,

For the UTI you already received the antibiotics.
I hope by now the infection have subsided.
After the infection you can have some redness and irritation.
Continue drinking water and wait for it.
Hopefully it gets better with time.
If it doesn't get better in a week then better see your physician.
if you have got more questions I am here.

wishing you good health

best regards
