Sir, Have you had your thyroid checked? If your thyroid is not working correctly you will have hair loss. Also, any medication change should be in consult with your doctor. It is dangerous to take yourself off a high blood pressure medication as many times you have to be weaned off the medication or you will experience rebound hypertension. Now what is more important your hair or your heart? Ask your doctor for another medication that won't make your hair fall out and ask him if your thyroid is ok. Sincerely, Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
