How Can Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Be Treated?

i am 40 years and for few months i was bleeding a lot during my periods and i consulted the doctor. she precriebed me Trapic MF and i took. can i take this medicine regularly during my periods time and after i stop this medicine i get clots more. what can i do. kindly suggest

age , you are near to menopause in sometime .
@ Can take Trapic MF only when more clots during menses , not every
period .
@ Later on you may require ultrasound examination if this persist for
more than 3 months .
