General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I do not know which treatment has been started to you. My suggestion is Ceftriaxone 250 mg intramuscular (IM) single dose, and Azithromycin 1 g oral single dose, this is first line regimen.

Also, the male partner should be scrutinized and investigated for gonococcal infection and treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
