How Can Foul Underarm Odour While On Phentermine Be Treated?

I am on phentermine. I have had a problem with odor under my arm. I can t wear deodorant..it seems tk make the smell a bit different but worse. It is likr a mildew smell or whatever. I can take a shower and by the time I get new clothes on I can start to smell again. I do not want to quit the pills, but is there a way to help this problem and continue to take?

Hello,

Phentermine causes dryness of mouth & may cause dehydration if you are not keeping yourself well fed & hydrated. It has no role is causing bad odour.

To prevent bad body odor:-

1. Keep your armpits always dry, bacteria causes bad odor if armpits are moist or in sweat.
2. Get treated for hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating.
3. Take care of your hygiene, always wear clean washed clothes.
4. Keep your underarms shaved & take showers 2-3 times a day.
5. You can use antiperspirant. Topical use of hydrogen peroxide is also effective.
6. Change your diet, avoid non-veg food, garlic, onions, fatty food. Go for veggies, fruits, yogurt & berries. Avoid addictions if any.
