How Can Fever And Leg Inflammation Caused By Vaccination Be Treated?
Hello dr .. my kid get the last vaccine, he is a year and half . This one makes his leg red and infammed . His temperature become high but I give him paracetamol . He can t withstand the pain . Can walk hardly .. is there any thing I can do to make him feel better ..

Ist booster vaccine of DPT causes some problems like fever and pain for 3 to 4 days which can be easily overcome by giving adequate recommended doses of paracetamol in 4 to 6 hourly basis.
Ice packs or the hot water fomentation will help in reliving the locally inflammed swelling.
