I have 3 months child 7.8 kgs. she is suffering from fever, cough and cold. We gave her paracetamol 125mg ( 6 drops) 2 times from last night in an interval of 9 hrs . But her fewer is not coming down. We are applying water soaked cloth on her head now. Also on Sunday there are no doctors available today. Please suggest. Or we Have Fevanorm ( paracetamol 125 mg + mefamic acid 50mg) can I give this to her. If yes how much ml and at what intervals
Understanding your concern. As per your complain it seems that your kid is suffering from fever and cough that is a viral infection . It may also occur due to strep throat I would suggest you that you should make her gargling with a warm saline solution that is by mixing 1 teaspoon salt in a glass of water and warm it to make a luke warm solution, give her a cough syrup along with paracetamole and anti allergic levocetrizine . Do steam inhalations, avoid spicy and chilled foods, sip on warm water throughout the day. If symptoms persist then consult pediatrician. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course along with anti inflammatory and antipyritic .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
