General & Family Physician 's  Response
Certain complications of diabetes cause fatigue. For example, both diabetes-related kidney disease (nephropathy) and nerve damage (neuropathy) can contribute to the development of fatigue. People with diabetes can also have fatigue as a result of not eating well or due to anemia. Multivitamins won’t help in this. It needs to be properly investigated and diagnosed.
Advice
1.     Take proper treatment of diabetes as suggested by your doctor
2.     Folic acid 5 mg per oral daily for 3 months
3.     Methylcobalamin 500 mcg once daily per oral for 3 months
4.     Ferrous Sulphate 150 mg daily per oral for 3 months
5.     Investigations
a.     Hb%
b.     lipid profile
c.     serum creatinine
d.     blood urea
e.     serum sodium & potassium
