How Can Excessive Sweating Be Treated?

My grandson is 12 years old and takes medications for RAD and ADHD. He sweats heavily and this is accompanied by very unpleasant odor. HE SHOWERS DAILY,USES DEODORANT BUT IS STILL PLAGUED WITH THE PROBLEM. The meds he takes are Concerta, Ritalin, Guanfacine, Luvox, and Trazedone. Is there anything special we should be doing? Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
ADHD (attention deficit hyperkinetic disease) is often associated with hyperthyroidism.
And this can cause excessive sweating.
So better to get done thyroid function test (TSH, free T3 and T4).
He may need neomercazole and propranolol if he is having hyperthyroidism.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your grandson. Thanks.
