which is better medicine for epilepsy levipil or encorate? my wife is diagonised as myoclonic juvenile epilepsy since 12 years .she use to take encorate ( sodium valproate) ie 500mg in morning and 800 mg in evening from past 10 years . but she use to get jerks on and off not much frequently. but from past 2 years they shifted to levipil dosage morning 1 gm in evening 1 .5 gm since we wanted to have baby and neurologist suggest us to takesince it is safe in pregnancy but after 1;5 years she got a miscarriage and she got weaker currently recently from past i month she got jerks and fits as well so we increase the dosageto 1.5 gm in morning and 1.5gm evening respectively along with frisium 5mg how long she should continue the medicines and how we can prevent from fits since due to fits injury can occur and person can damage her self i need your opinion regarding this .
