General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

You are correctly treating your high blood pressure (bp) with Telma 40. However, you should be patient as it might need more than 3 days for your bp to get back to normal again.

Furthermore, if you are anxious, anxiety itself won't let your bp get down.

So, I advise to:
- continue taking Telma 40 as recommended by your doctor
- try to limit salt intake in foods
- try to relax, chamomile tea or valeriana can help
- keep monitoring bp, record the results to show to your doctor again.

If after a couple of weeks, your bp will stay the same even after making such changes, then, should get back to your doctor again.
You can go to your doctor if you notice anything unusual.

Hope this helps.
