How Can Dizziness And Headache After A Head Injury Be Treated?

I fell this past Thursday down my bk stairs and hit my head quite hard couldn t afford to go to doctors didn t have th money Im 73 years old is it possible I could have a concussion I was dizzy and still have a headache and I was nauseated after I fell head still hurts what should I do for treatment to feel better it was hard to focus after I first fell and I feel tired and no ambition

Hello,

Did you get swelling or bleeding at hitting site? Did you vomited after injury? Nature of vomiting after head injury is projectile vomiting (abdominal material is thrown out forcefully).

If you have this type of vomiting with continuous headaches and dizziness, you need CT scan of brain to rule out hemorrhage inside brain. If not and only mild headache, then take paracetamol drug 8 hourly and wait for 48 hours.

If you will not have any of the symptoms described above, then no need to worry.
