General & Family Physician 's  Response
Some people experience lightheadedness, generalized weakness or other non-specific symptoms within weeks after TIA. These symptoms are known by 'TIA mimic' by some experts as these do not necessarily mean a new TIA. You have not mentioned any drugs the patient is taking or any other co-morbidities as these may give clues about cause of lightheadedness and generalized weakness. I highly recommend to have a specialist appointment sooner as there is estimated risk that about 20-25% of patients after TIA suffer a stroke within 90 days.
