How Can Discomfort In The Hips After A Surgery Be Treated?

In August of 2007 my right hip was replaced for the Sixth time. Smaller bones have begin replacing the are just beside the hip. What is the names for this type of filler bones that are developing. It was diagnosed that these filler bones may have developed a small crack and have been causing me some discomfort. I am only asking what is the proper name for these bones. YYYY@YYYY
