How Can Difficulty In Urinating Be Treated?

Hi I am 24 years unmarried boy ,I am having urination problem that is I urinate 10 to 15 times a day but not in night urologist examines my condition and after doing some test my prostate size comes out to 16cc that is normal.Now 10 days before I had an operation for hemoroids and after I came to my sense I was not able to urinate and for that docs place catheter in order to empty the bladder .Day after they remove the catheter and I was able to urinate but in small amount .After consulting my doc he prescribed me veltam 0.4mg (tamosulosin hydrochloride) and today I go for masturebate and had dry ejaculation .It totally distress me alot .Please suggest me what to do.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your urine incontinence and dry ejaculation.

As per your history your concern seems to me that you had dry ejaculation also inceases frequency of micturation.

As you are taking a drug veltam (tamsolusin), it's mechanism of action is relaxing the urinary bladder sphincter (opening). Normally at the time of ejaculation this sphincter is closed and the semen travels forwards and comes out through penis (urethra) but when you take medication like Tamsolusin it relaxes your sphincter and the semen goes towards bladder and comes out with urine at the time of micturation.

So you don't need to worry till your urine incontinence is get rid off and your ejaculation will be normal after withdrawing the veltam.
