How Can Diarrhea In An Infant Be Treated?
My baby s birth weight was 3 kg later it dropped to 2.6 kg within a week...and today she is 35 days and haven t even gained the birth weight she is still 2.7kg even after using simyl with my BM...and my pediac has suggested to feed dexolac special care and after drinking it for a day she is now suffering from diarrhea...5 to 6 times a day

Hello,
There is an initial drop of weight in the first few days for most babies then they start to gain weight.
In terms of the dexolac, it does not seem to agree with her and should be changed before the repeated diarrhea actually worsens the weight loss.
