How Can Diarrhea And Acid Reflux After Gallbladder Removal Be Treated?

My husband had his gull bladder out almost two years ago they put him on prevalite and if he stops taking it he has diarrhea. He has tried other anti diarrhea medications that don t work. Is this harming him? He also has bad heart burn and has had several endoscopic test and a stint put in his bile duct.

Thanks for given info,According to your husband history disease, After removal of gall bladder patient has gastric problems,IBS,
should be avoid some food that not suitable
Avoid food creat gas,abdominal bloating
Here suggest you medicine may be helpful to cover symptoms
Tablet. Esomeprazole 20 mg
1+1 take before meal
Tablet. Ranitidine 150 mg
1+1
syrup. Gaviscon
2+2
if patient feels abdominal bloating or constipation give him lactulose
use rich fiber diet
if smoking avoid it
if using alcohol avoid it
