How Can Cough And Inflammation In The Upper Respiratory Tract Be Treated?

just lost everything I wrote! Will try again:Went to urgent care center today because while my flu symptoms seem to be getting better, my upper respiratory inflammation/cough hasn t improved (this is day 7). I was prescribed prednisone and z-pac and am not sure if I should start taking meds tonight or wait until tomorrow (instructions that came with prednisone say if only taking one dose a day should take before 9 am.

Hello dear ,
- continue medicines as per your doctor`s advise along with which follow
certain basics at home for faster recovery :
# drink plenty of liquids to maintain hydration , take balanced diet to
combat pathogens
# avoid oily / spicy / non vegetarian stuffs / beverages / chilled items
# avoid shouting
# gargles with apple seed vinegar 2-3 times a day
# avoid smoking / alcohol
# avoid stress
# don`t go to dusty atmosphere / excess cold if needed use face mask
