How Can Costochondritis Be Treated?

I went into ER 24 hours ago with extreme chest pain, throbbing in the neck and up into throat and jaws and ear pain. Pain radiating to shoulders. ER doc says costochondritis. I have headache, still jaw/ear/throat pain. The chest pain is still there as well but not as severe. Never had anything like this with the costo...No real fever, though 1 to 2 degrees higher than my usual normal.

it can be treated by taking nasids applying anal gesic ointment. can take appliance to restrict chastisement during respiration. strapping can be done.
