How Can Constant Cough Be Treated?
I have a constant cough- sometimes dry sometimes clear mucus. Mucus was hard green at first and now seems to be clear. Dr said it was viral and gave me a zpak and 20mg prednisone 3 qd 5 days and over the counter Zyrtec. all done meds and now still have cough

Kindly, mention your reports that have been done for giving more comment. Do you have a dry cough or a wet cough?
Post bronchitis cough can persist for few days. For dry cough Dextromethorphan containing syrup can be prescribed. Consult pulmonologist for examination if needed.
