How Can Chronic Sciatica Be Treated?

I have chronic sciatica nerve pain from my lower lumbar to mt left hip down the entire leg to my foot. The pain has worsened over the past 4 years, to the point that I have inadequate sleep, depression, and walking is Very Painful. I had 5 different injections in my spine in 2014, none of them provided ant relief. I had an MRI of the lower spine 7/28/17, whichever that I degenerative disc disease, as well as a bulging disc that is pushing on the L3 nerve root. I am seeking the best treatment options because the pain has become unbearable.

Since an MRI has already diagnosed degenerative and prolapsed disc at L3 level, and it is causing you much discomfort, including nerve compression, you would have to get the disc removed by minimal access surgery. This will relieve you of the nerve compression and pain. It is best you consult a Neurosurgeon or an Orthopedic Surgeon for advise and management.
