How Can Chronic Microvascular Disease Be Treated?
Hi, my husband has been suffering with a shuffling gait for about a year now. Had a brain MRI done that showed chronic microvascular disease. He is also a daibetic. One dr said nothing to worry about that it was caused by diabities and neuro dr said may be start of dementia. In meantime he fell the other day after getting up. Please advise

A shuffling gait can sometimes be related to Parkinson's in some persons so his doctor may also consider this as well.
This can also cause instability.
He may need to be monitored for a few months to find the exact diagnosis.
