How Can Chronic Diarrhea Be Treated?

I have IBS and am having trouble controlling it. The major symptom that bothers me the most is constant Diarrhea which dictates my life. It interferes with work, exercise-you name it. I even am afraid to eat. I am even worried about what I drink as well. So my question is: What can I do to minimize or stop the IBS diarreah? (I am already taking medication but that isn t solving my problem.)

Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Use Imodium three times a day
-Use probiotics
-Try to take a diet withcy bananas, applesauce, rice, tost
-do a coproculture test
