Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

There are many Lung Diseases associated with peripheral Eosinophilia & many require prolonged courses of corticosteroids (preferably inhaled corticosteroids say Budesonide, Fluticasone, etc) for months to years.

Infectious etiologies of pulmonary eosinophilia are largely due to helminths and are treatable with anti-helminthics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Tushar Kanti Biswas, Internal Medicine Specialist
