How Can Cholesterol Be Controlled?

i am a 24yr olf female, hispanic. my CHOL is 223mg/dl. my TRIG is at 259mg/dl .. my HDL CHOL is at 24mg/dl. my HDLC ratio is 9.3. my vldl is at 52mg/dl and my LDL CHOL is at 147mg/dl. my doctor has been in so i havent spoken to her about the results. since 18 my cholesterol is slowly worsening. i diet and exercise at times and have no better results.

You have high lipid profile which is a risk factor for coronary artery disease.Drugs like atorvas can be helpful.diet restriction and exercise are mandate.consult cardiologist at the earliest.thankyou
