How Can Chicken Pox Scars On The Nose Be Removed?

I ve had a chicken pox scar in the middle of the end of my nose for 65 years. In the last few years, it occasionally breaks open and bleeds, and heals. It does this about twice a year. I am going to have it biopsied in case it is a carcinoma, but I wonder if it could be something to do with the scar tissue?

Hi there,

I don't believe that it has something to due with the scar tissue, especially if it has been stable for the past 65 years. Getting it biopsied is definitely the right treatment here. Hopefully this will be benign. If it continues to bother you, the treatment will be to have a plastic surgeon perform a scar revision for you.

I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
