How Can Body Weight Of A Toddler Be Increased?

Hello Dr, My little champ s 21/2 months old. His birth weight was 3.25 kgs and at first Dr visit (45 days) it was only 3.75kgs. He s on breastfeeding. Want to increase my child weight. Does bonnison help for this. If so, please guide me with the dosage and timings.

absolute breastfeeding is necessary for 6 months.breastfed the baby every 2nd hourly.new born babies will lose weight for first few days around 10 to 14 days,then they will increase. so there is nothing to worry now.don't use any supplements unless you have insufficient breast milk.it will cause diarrhoea if not diluted properly.usually 2 scoops with 60ml warm water will do.
