How Can Blood Sugar Levels Be Kept Under Control?

Hi, i found my blood sugar level yesterday 345 while fasting. A day before that i drank couple of glasses of pepsi. But i drink too much water and urinating in every hour or two.. please let me know what should i do to control the blood sugar. Am i in a danger level?

Thanks for the queey.I undrstand your xoncern.
Your fasting blood sugar is quite high... &needs to be taken care of.
If you haven't been tested before.. glucose tollerance test &your lipid profile would help to start medications.Normally fasting blood sugar should be 100 mg & post meal after 1.5 hours of food should be 140 mg .
Rise in one of the reading is suggestive of diabetes.
Rise in fasting value is mostly due to imbalance of hormones that control blood sugar while sleep &don't eat. So don't be stressed due to large value of fasting sugar.
*Consult a diabetologist for management...the medicines advised (according to blood sugar levels) &lifestyle changes would take care of the rsised blood sugar
Change in life style like strict restrictions on carbohydrates (as per dietitian's advise, Routine 45 minutes physical work outs ,avoiding psychological stress &having a sound 8 hours of sleep....are helpful .
