How Can Blood Pressure Levels Be Lowered?

My son was given lorsatan 25mg this past Thursday and his blood pressure was still 164/101 ,his doctor told him to take 2 pills instead so now he takes 50 mg.his pressure is still high..what else can he do to lower it and how long before it actually takes affect ?

Ok, this is not so critic blood pressure and you should try to take this 50mg of losartan and also diazepam 2mg to relax your muscle and heart tonus. If there is no improvement you should switch antihypertensive medication and ask your cardiologist for ACE inhibitor or beta blocker. Also, reduce salt intake and avoid physical and emotional stress.
