How Can Back Pain With A Swollen Lump Be Treated?

i lifted a dumbell off the floor to put it away and i felt a pinch in my back, now it is in pain to the point when i get into my car i have to lift my left leg up with my hands to get into the car . there is also a lump about 2 inches to the left of my spine and about 3 inches up frm my waist.there is also a little swelling in the same area ... is this just a pulled muscle or could it be more serious ?

This is definitely not a lump and you need to meet an orthopaedic doctor at the earliest. It could be disc bulge or lysthesis. Till then for pain you can use hot water fomentation. Take care.
